Municipal customers are required to pay their accounts even if a statement was not received. Customers who are in arrears and want to make arrangements to pay off their debt can visit the Municipality and make an arrangement to pay off the debt monthly.
Customers are encouraged to register on this portal facility to receive their monthly statement by email. When registering on the e-newcastle portal, you will capture your ID number/Passport Number and be automatically linked to the debtors system, and the relevant account/s will be emailed monthly thereafter.
Should the required account detail not be automatically linked to the portal profile, a copy of the customers' ID document and account number is to be submitted to the Municipality, as an attachment using the email address statement@newcastle.gov.za, and the respective ID number will be updated on the account in order to link it to the profile.
